Eric Quarshie
Let me introduce myself and give you a bit of background about me. My name is Eric Quarshie. I was born in Germany, raised in Ghana (West Africa), and studied in the United Kingdom (UK) before moving to Toronto Canada, where I live today. I have been a certified fitness expert for the last 15 years.
Fitness has always been my passion. I grew up doing track & field and playing sports such as football (soccer to the North Americans) and basketball. As an adult I have immersed myself in fitness, teaching, competing in physique shows and demonstrating. My educational background, skills and experience has enabled me to use this platform to help people who are serious about training or want to get serious about their physical and mental well-being.
A healthy lifestyle is all about balance. I love food: anyone that knows me, knows that I truly enjoy food but we can not eat without a game plan. To be able to enjoy meals with no guilt, I make sure I earn it. That means training hard hard enough to balance out those meals. As I started to mature in life, my priorities changed from being an avid athlete with a conditioned body I worked hard for, to viewing fitness as a sustainable lifestyle. My approach to fitness is to build enough muscle to protect bones, gain flexibility for better movement and improve on our cardiovascular health for a better heart and lung capacity.
